Total earnings for this week is way higher than last week. I am testing a different algorithm with the ubereats app and it seems to be working. I am going to iterate over this new workflow in the coming weeks.
Insights
The most I've made in a single day was about $200 if I remember correctly. That was more than 3 years ago and I worked about ten hours that day. I'd be out 10 hours on bike, but more so to create content than just running deliveries. Focusing on creating content has long-term effect on my revenue than doing deliveries.
Looking at the breakdown of earnings, almost half of it came from promotions. From experience, the company will slowly make it harder for you to earn those promotions. We'll see how this unfolds in the coming months.
Also note the number of trips made. With the algorithm I'm testing, the number of trips should go up in the coming weeks. I'm also testing working in the suburbs vs the CBD. Which days of the week are most profitable, which area? What time of the day will give me more trips?
I am not going to rely entirely on this revenue stream. Working this is more for exercise and to shoot video content for the youtube channel.
I should create a spreadsheet for the different revenue streams. It's my day off today. I'll add that to my TODO list.
